"My Crimson Rosella Painting, Crimson Fella, is a study of one of our most richly coloured parrots, worked in deep glowing colour with a calm, easy presence. He is not doing anything dramatic. That is rather the point. Some birds are worth painting simply for what the colour does when the light hits it.
This one was selected as a finalist at the Brookfield Show in 2025, where it also placed third in the Oil category. It is oil on canvas, one of a kind, hand signed, framed in oak and ready to hang. Free shipping Australia wide, and international enquiries are welcome.
