Original Nature and Wildlife Paintings

My original nature and wildlife paintings are one of a kind. Each is painted by hand, signed when it is finished, and there is no second version of any of them.

Most of these subjects come from quiet moments I have witnessed and wanted to hold onto. A native bird settling at dusk. A koala asleep in the canopy. Most of this work is closely observed and realist, though some of it has recently turned looser and more expressive. What stays constant is the atmosphere I am trying to keep hold of, and the hope that it carries into the room where the painting eventually hangs.

Each painting arrives ready to hang, with a Certificate of Authenticity I sign myself, and free shipping Australia wide. International enquiries are welcome on any original still available.

An original sells once and then it is gone. Where a piece has already found its home, many of the paintings remain available as a hand signed limited edition print, or as a more affordable open edition print. Those are the same image, printed with care, but they are not the same object. The originals carry the brushwork, the surface and the hours.
