He is standing at the edge of the only life he has ever known, about to walk away from it. Sunrise behind him, the herd somewhere back there, and no particular hurry about any of it. It is the biggest thing I have painted and it holds a wall the way nothing else in the collection does. People go quiet in front of him.
Young bulls leave and then spend a long stretch entirely alone, working out what they are. Everyone recognises that, whether or not they have ever thought about an elephant. It is the reason he ends up in studies and entrance halls belonging to people who have made a few decisions of their own.
The original oil painting is one of a kind and the most significant piece I have made. Only one home will ever have it. This Elephant Wall Art print carries the same sunrise for the rest of us.
He is printed on archival fine art paper, to order, in the size that suits your space. Each print is made on archival fine art paper once you have ordered it. The small and medium sizes are printed by me in Brisbane, and the largest by a specialist fine art printer whose press takes wider sheets than mine. He was painted big and he wants the room, so the larger Elephant Wall Art sizes suit him best.
