Rainbow bee-eaters seem to flash every shade they own when they move, and this artwork was my attempt to hold that brightness still without losing its spark. On canvas, the effect is cheerful in the best possible way, like summer light caught for later.

Rainbow bee-eaters are hard to forget once you have seen one properly. They dart out from their perch, catch bees and other insects in mid air, then return to the branch as if nothing much happened. They also nest in tunnels dug into sandy banks, which feels wonderfully odd for a bird dressed this brightly. If one has ever crossed your path on a warm afternoon, you will know why this Bee Eater Print needed so much colour.

The Bee Eater Print canvas edition is limited to just five numbered prints, making it one of the smallest runs in the collection.
