Some colours you cannot argue with. He sits there in deep, unembarrassed red, and a room that has been perfectly nice for years suddenly has a centre to it. That is the thing about one strong colour in a quiet house: everything else arranges itself around it without being asked.
Crimson rosellas are so common along the eastern ranges that most people have stopped seeing them properly. Look at one for thirty seconds and it is faintly absurd how good they are. That deep red, the blue in the wing, all of it wandering about the garden as though it were nothing special.
The original oil painting was a finalist at the Brookfield Show in 2025 and placed third in the Oil category. It is a one of a kind work, and only one household will ever have it. This Red Wall Art print is how everyone else lives with him.
