An old farm on a bright morning, kookaburras in charge of somebody's rusting machinery, and the whole scene entirely pleased with itself, as farms on good mornings tend to be. People smile at this one before they work out why. On canvas at full size it turns a kitchen or a family room into somewhere people linger.

Kookaburras are the most confident birds we have. They will sit and watch you eat lunch with the patience of something that fully expects a share. The machinery underneath them stopped working long before they arrived and has clearly been forgiven.

Only twenty five of this Kookaburra Print will be made. Each carries its number, and once the edition is gone it does not come back. The original oil painting exists once and once only. For a gentler way in there is an open edition paper print of the same image.

Printed in Australia on museum grade canvas, matched by eye against the original until the rust on the old gear reads the way it did in life.
