The storm had just gone through and the light coming off the clouds turned everything pink, including two corellas who were far too busy arguing to notice. They are white birds. That afternoon they were not. It is the only time I have seen it happen and I have been chasing that light ever since.
Corellas argue constantly and almost none of it means anything. They gather in hundreds, they shout at each other, and by evening they are all sitting in the same tree as though nothing occurred. There is something reassuring about a disagreement with no consequences whatsoever.
The original oil painting exists only once. There is also a hand signed limited edition of five, one of the shortest runs I offer. This Pink Wall Art print puts the same afternoon on a wall without the wait or the outlay.
Prints go on archival fine art paper and are made once the order lands. Each print is made on archival fine art paper once you have ordered it. The smaller and medium sizes are printed by me in Brisbane, and the largest by a specialist fine art printer whose press takes wider sheets than mine.
