Nurturing Mother - Duck Print, Limited Edition of 5

My Duck Print comes from one of the largest paintings I have made, a Pacific black duck guiding her ducklings across still water in early light. Ducklings follow within a day of hatching and the mother never looks back to check, which I found more moving than I expected to.

It is printed in Australia on museum grade canvas with archival pigment inks, matched carefully against the original so the light stays on the surface of the water where it belongs. This is one of the small editions. Only five will ever be made, each one supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity I sign and number by hand.

Five is a genuinely short run, and the smaller editions tend to go first for exactly that reason. It is a warm, calming thing to live with and it holds a wall without raising its voice.
