Soft blue, soft yellow, a pale head and a lot of clean white space around him. This is about as easy a picture to live with as I make. It goes on a wall and asks nothing, which is exactly what some rooms need and exactly why these are the prints people buy two or three of at once.
Pale-headed rosellas are the quiet ones. Less noise than a lorikeet, less swagger than a king parrot, and easy to walk past entirely if you are not paying attention. They are worth paying attention to.
This Rosella Watercolour sits well beside the other watercolours in the collection, and a small grouping of them along a hallway works better than any of them alone. There is some advice on my blog about hanging work together if that is the plan.
Each print is produced on archival fine art paper once your size is confirmed. The small and medium sizes are printed here in Brisbane, and the largest by a specialist fine art printer working at sheet sizes beyond my press.
